Hey, would it be possible to correspond with you via email? I’m not sure how much this would be of interest to you but myself, and a colleague, recently presented papers about regarding issues of body modifications, suicidegirls.com and the use of male gaze. I don’t know if you’d may be have any interest in reading our paper once it’s finished as all of these issues have at some point been discussed. However, I also would very much like your personal opinion about the reactions we received at these conferences about our paper. I have only a few small tattoos and quite a few piercings, I study a PhD but suddenly at a conference you’re viewed as just one of those ‘types’ and people feel it is completely ok to allow their personal opinions to overshadow your research into a particular issue. I was wondering if I could pick your brain for advice…?

It wasn’t the body projects conference in York was it? I was registered to attend but couldn’t go 😦

I’d be really, really interested in your paper and would love to talk to you.
Thanks for getting in touch. I shall look forward to a chat via email x

Hi! I’m working on getting a podcast going about body modifications and women. I would love to chat with you about this to bounce ideas around and get a ‘professional’ opinion on the topic before launching and reaching out to other parties. Feel free to contact me via WordPress or email me at modbroads.pod@gmail.com.
